“The Room was very clean. The building itself was run down and not very well maintained, had long grass not been cut. The outer doors were not locked.The staff was very helpful and friendly..”

I wish we had asked for a second floor room so we could have opened the window. there are not individual A/C units in the rooms. we had to go buy a fan. besides being on the first floor and not wanting the window open for that reason, there wasn't a screen. so 2nd floor probably didn't have one either.”

“The staff was friendly and kind. Breakfast went until 10:30 and I appreciated that! There was hair in the shower and bed, cob webs in corners, and the bed was uncomfortable. The sheets and towels were so dingy I wondered if they were clean. At 2:30am I went down to get my pillow out of the car because theirs were flat. The location is what makes this place special. I was thankful to be out of the severe weather for the night but I wouldn’t stay here again.”

“They are cute little cottages on Long Lake north of Alpena. Very clean and friendly! Nothing fancy just simple way of life. You can bring your boat and dock it, fish and/or have a bonfire. 🔥”

“This beautiful, well maintained property. The cabin is beautiul, the fireplace is cozy and the hot tub overlooking Lake Huron is a beautiful place to relax. This place is great because there is room for many people to gather and not feel crowded. There is also a gameroom with fun things to do for everyone. There is also a beautiful view from every window. The hosts were also great. ”

“Room was small but adequate. Bathroom very small, shower extremely small, no place to set things except on window sill. Beds very comfortable. Check in was virtual, would have been nice to meet owners. Property was beautiful as well as clubhouse. Parking lot could use some painted lines, but we were one of three guests there at the time. Id stay again if i could get a lake view room with 2 beds.”

“We stayed at the cabin mostly just for nights to have a peaceful night sleep with the kids. We were in MI for a small reunion at the family hunting camp. The cabin was perfect for chill time and relaxing looking out at the snow covered trees. ”

“This was our second stay and it did not disappoint! The welcome basket was so sweet and she always leaves bowls out for our service dog. The place is clean and welcoming. We didn’t have time to use the hot tub but last time it was great! Deborah responded immediately to messages. I can’t say enough good about or experience. Lake view is wonderful and we walked down to the lake our first night there. Truly a blessing.”
