“I was not aware that the property did not provide towels and wash cloths. (I didn’t read the whole description. Lesson learned). When I called about it they directed me to a stash of towels in another building. He didn’t have to do that! Great customer service!”

“We had the most peaceful getaway for 4 days in October here. The host was very responsive and the place was full of all essentials needed for a home cooked meal or bbq on the deck outside. Had coffee each morning (coffee and maker included) outside while watching fishermen, hunters, neighbors or for a walk and the squirrels getting ready for the new season. Beautiful view of the Mississippi backwaters from the kitchen and living room, huge windows. Would definitely go back! Thank you! ”

It's a welcoming space.The LED bulbs over the dining room table were very uncomfortable for our eyes.If I was a family with littles, getting up the stairs from the street would be challenging.Packing in and out would be alot.The beds were very comfortable. “The VRBO itself was charming and nostalgic for a girls weekend. However, it was dirty. Cobwebs, dust, dead bugs and a coffee pot that we cleaned. It would have been helpful to know about the steep stairs on arrival. Luckily, we were all able to make stairs but if you have knee or joint issues probably skip this VRBO. The train was also an issue. The noise machines did not help our party as we heard the trains and horns at all hours. It was okay.”
