“I’ve stayed at Hyatt Vivid (next door) and I thought it was great. While walking at the beach, looking at Devossion by Live Aqua, it didn’t seem too attractive. However, this time we decided to give at chance. By just simply walking in into Devossion (front entry) it takes your breath away. The view of the ocean from the front desk (checking in) is AMAZING!!!!! I felt in love at first sight with this resort. The views, the restaurants, the ambiance, their customer service…. Everything that……

“Really nice place”

“The hotel is beautiful, from the street and the lobby to the room. The room was spotless, quiet, and the bed, bedding, and pillows were super comfy. The staff (Alma, at the front desk) was incredibly helpful, kind, and friendly. We felt welcomed from the moment we crossed the door. The rooftop is also beautiful. It's clean and comfortable, and has a great view. Our room had an ocean view, which is technically accurate, and although you can see it from the bed, you are actually seeing it from……

“The room I was originally placed in was right next to a bar, so it was pretty loud the first night. However, the front desk was very helpful and moved me to another room without any issues, which I really appreciated. The rooms are very spacious more like a small apartment which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is also great and very convenient. Overall, I had a positive experience and would stay here again.”

“It is a beautiful hotel! There is no property around it to go for a stroll on property! I know the water of the ocean is rising so there is very little ocean beach!”

“We were very impressed with this hotel. The staff were very friendly, rooms clean and modern and the location is perfect and relatively quiet. Our only suggestion would be better lounging furniture on the rooftop terrace as shown in some photos. ”

“Nice receptionists, better facility than expected”

“The staff go above and beyond to make your stay worry free. They arranged transport for the airport and they also arranged a special dinner for a birthday celebration. They have so much to offer as far as dinners, beach clubs and more. This was our second time staying for 10 days and it won’t be our last. We requested the same room #8 which was so perfect for a couple. The hotel is very clean and they provide a nice little breakfast that will hit the spot and get you going for the day. ”

“Excellent and nice location, rooms looks good just this time had a terrible smell like sewer and they came to spray air freshener only, that didn't help, the good thing we was outside q lot we just used to sleep and left next morning. If you stay there and find something uncomfortable just talk to the gm Ricardo, he can help you.”

“We arrived after a rainstorm, and the room ceiling literally leaked. Switched to another room - never had any hot water. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The grounds/pool area were delightful, oppulent. The connection to the Ipanema restarurant provided exceptional food choices. Hoping they can fix the few flaws.”
