"Great place, beautiful. A bit overrun by day passes. Food timing is silly. No breakfast until 8. Pack in some fruit and snacks. The “Market” (also not open until 8) is worthless."

"No words can accurately express the exceptional stay we enjoyed. Brad and Michele Phelps are fantastic hosts! They have thought of everything a guest might need. The setting alone will make you never want to leave. The location for our hiking plans was perfect as we could access Gunnison area and Crested Butte. This property not only provides a sweet cabin but pastures of horses on a pristine ranch expanse. We enjoyed feeding the horses with Brad and Michele one evening. We already can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much Brad and Michele! Oh, and a huge shout to Brad, THE MAN, who helped change a flat tire on our truck the day we left! Amazing!"

"This place is a true gem with beautiful views and an idyllic setting. Our two dogs loved swimming in the pond and we spent many hours just sitting outside listening to the river (raging in June). The guest cabin is close to the main house but the owners did a great job of making it feel private with trees. It is on a working ranch so the neighboring cows walked by the property every morning and also hung out on the other side of the fence. Lots of calves this time of year. Our one dog could care less, our other was a bit too interested. The cabin itself has a king bed on the main floor and two twin beds in the loft. We found internet access to be fine and had 5G in certain areas. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the grill and hot tub are nice to have. It is 10 mins outside of downtown Salida. We loved our stay and will absolutely book again!"

"This was our second stay and it was as wonderful as the first! The secluded location with Mt. Antero and Mt. Princeton as your only neighbors is perfect! The stars we viewed from the hot tub were unlike any we have ever seen. The cabin itself is clean and well-appointed. The kitchen has every possible appliance and cooking need imaginable. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the towels are soft. The cabin is much roomier on the inside than it looks from the outside. We enjoyed walking the back property, listening to the rushing stream and hearing the bird calls each day. This place is exactly what is listed and more. I hesitate to say too many great things about it, for fear of it being booked next year when we return!"
