"I really hate to give a historic hotel anything less than 5 stars, but they need more attention to the smaller things. The sidewalk bar seating area should be removed. It makes a fine hotel look bad and gives it a poor first impression. We had a suite and it was very nice. A single room, like they are in all older hotels, will be rather cramped. Our sitting room tv was not “set up” and the remote needed batteries. It takes time to remedy such issues, and did. You can park yourself street side...

"Hotel was beautiful and the staff was very helpful and courteous. Our room was clean however, the soap dispenser heads were broken. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room quickly. "
