"The room was great...2 king beds, good sized room, breakfast was good. Good location. Only downside was the "hotel fee" we were charged on top of what I paid online through hotels.com. It was an extra $60...I didn't expect quite that much. When I booked there a mention of $9ish and even if they charged that per person it was more than $9/person. I thought it was a hold on my card and didn't realize until a week later it was an actual charge or I would have asked there at the hotel."

"Nice to walk to restaurants downtown. While the hotel is historically older, the carpet in our room was nasty dirty and the bathroom was grungy. Parking is a hassle unless you want to pay the valet $30 a night. You can park on the street in the evening but have to move car by 7:00 am in order to not get a ticket. The parking garage is rather far from hotel entrance and also is costly per night. "
