There are vending and ice machines on 9th floor and basement and ice buckets are available next to them. Hotel is at a great location to anything downtown. Easy check-in and out with digital/electronic option. "

"This is our the third time staying at this hotel. We love it. We love the location because it’s right by Maggie Daley Park. This is a great park for kids and our son loves it. The hotel is beautiful. We love the full bathtub and shower combo. The beds are comfy. The view of Lake Michigan is beautiful. The staff are excellent and we are always impressed with their kindness. "Tub drain was clogged but maintenance fixed it right away. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK, but it was free, so no complaints. The set up made for a chaotic, somewhat frustrating experience at the busiest time in the morning, but again, tolerable. Clean hotel. No major issues during our 5 night stay."

"Although location, lobby and stuff was good the newly updated rooms at the West tower were dirty and poorly taken care of. I found condiment packages behind the sink, mold in the sink, crumbs, and chocolate on the carpet floor and the blood on the bathroom wall, not to mention a very foul odor in the room. The Hyatt Regency has a vote, respected name across the country, but I was disappointed."
