Waupun Chalets

This is LONG overdue and for that I apologize. My 12 year son and I were traveling from central Illinois up to Green Bay to take in a Packers game this past December, staying the night in Appleton. About 60 miles short of our destination for the night, we hit a deer and it did quite a bit of damage to our vehicle. We limped it down the road in freezing rain and one headlight when the temperature gauge begin to creep up. We pulled into a drive and the man who lived there let us wait for the...

The people where nice, great breakfast, clean room, the only down side is the pool was freezing cold so swimming really wasn't an option, they had a pool table but the pool sticks had Mold on them, the table was also uneven, and there wasn't any chalk. Overall our stay was great, I only wish we had been able to swim more.

This was a nice place to stay. Great people at check in. Very clean and comfortable room. Very close to the event i was attending. Will definately go there again. Thanks

Can't wait until I can go back in warm weather to use their beautiful outdoor pool, & the hot tub (the hot tub is available year-round but some work had to be done on it). I was very hedonistic & enjoyed the solitude of the jacuzzi in my own room, and it was lovely to be able to watch the marsh go to sleep, then reawaken in the morning, all from the comfy coziness of my own room . The full body hammock-type tree swings were such a treat, too; overall, this was a much-needed healing retreat for...

Nice clean new building. Disappointed that there was no hot tub and the pool area was tiny.

Beautifully restored B&B with many updates to make our stay comfortable. Large private bathroom with a gorgeous walk-in shower. The room was nice-sized with a view of the patio and expansive side yard. Paul and Candace were outstanding hosts and excellent cooks - breakfast was delicious! I would highly recommend this B&B for anyone who is visiting the Green Lake area.

Wonderful place to stay! Very quaint and so glad we didn't stay at a hotel. Really felt like staying with family. Private bathrooms in your suite with Jacuzzi tubs. Great views of the lake and would love to stay here again soon!

Historic hotel fully restored with black marble floors, comfortable room & bed, comfortable furniture, free parking, overhead rain forest type bathroom shower, immaculately clean (room, hallways, elevator & lobby), friendly staff & rich flair of the past hotel glory from 1913. Shall stay here again. A delightful change & surprize from todays chain hotels. My wife & I took a unknown risk to stay @ Retlaw for tge first time and were rewarded with a very fine, enjoyable, relaxing & interesting...

Very good

The pool and huge hot tub were amazing! The views were gorgeous. Gas fire going all night.

Gorgeous property. Friendly staff. Quiet except the upstairs neighbors had squeaky floor boards and were up walking around from 5-8 am and we couldn't sleep. Bar on main floor is beautiful but not open very long. The bartender Bill makes the best old fashioned. Clean. Very comfortable bed. Jetted tub was amazing. Would definitely stay there again.

We were pleased with room cleanliness, overall this is our mainly feature for a Hotel stay. The reason I gave 2 star for Staff is because even the room was paid at the time of online reservation, I received an invoice under my door, that another card that Holiday Inn kept on file, was charged for a higher amount for same room. In the morning when I was questioning the same receptionist he didn't bother to apologize, he just said not to worry about the invoice, he will fix that. Usually I...

Here for wedding. Understand checking in before 3 sometimes can’t happen. So we asked if there’s was an iron or anything we could use Or laundry close , her answer was very rudely NO. Not pleasant at all. We had several rooms with us for this wedding on the 12th. Like I said understand check in time but the rudeness that she presented was very disappointing and we will definitely never be coming back to this hotel again. Kindness goes a long ways and I’ll tell you there were 250 people at this...

Friendly helpful staff, recently remodeled rooms good place to stay for Oshkosh activities

Restaurant and bar are nice to have in the hotel. Clean and quiet. Will definitely stay here again.

Location was excellent - a little hard to get to off of the highway but not a big problem. Room was very spacious and quite comfortable. Very nice breakfast without plastic utensils!

Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was excellent. Overall a very nice stay and I would recommend this motel to others.
