“Took 30 minutes to check in. Second desk clerk wasn't able to log in to computer. Printer wasn't working to get a receipt. Room assigned was across the street in a muddy lot with no way to wipe your feet to avoid tracking mud in your room. Rooms were barely furnished and subpar to the rooms by the office. Shower was cold. On ice without going back across the street to office.”

“This place is beautiful. You are surrounded by mountains and you can enjoy the stars from your patio.”

“Accept it’s an old property but when there is no working TV I find it totally unacceptable for the price paid. Staff informed but not fixed during 2 night stay.”

“The hotel itself was great! We had 2 rooms, one of them did have a loud A/C unit that made a loud noise. Luckily we had one in our group that was hard of hearing and worked great for her. The parking lot wasn’t enough for the way others parked! Needs better parking.”

“The location is only 4 minutes drive to Big Bend which is a big plus for us. We stayed there 4 nights, and the host is responsive and keep the trash in our room cleaned every day. The check in and check out thrue texting is also convenient for us because we check in late and check out early thanks to the smart door lock. The layout is practical and in room appliances (microwave, fridge, hair blower) are also help us staying in there for easy breakfast and dinner. Overall, I recommend this……

“This place gets hit by storms constantly but no backup generator! so if your lucky enough to get this room when a random storm (wont appear on weather apps) hits be prepared to be without electricity and AC oh ya when that happens no water either for a whole night!!”
