“As we were staying with our dog we were very pleased with the location. It was a very quiet wooded area which we loved but yet only 5 minutes to town. We had a wonderful dinner at the lodge. As an added bonus was Dollar Lake, which is not the lake you see next to the lodge. It was a short jaunt across from the main lodge where we enjoyed walking our dog. It is private and only available to those staying at Chanticleer Inn. The beach was sandy and the water was clear. A neat little gem. We would……

“This condo is great for people to use in the Eagle River area. Has great beds, bathrooms, kitchen, it’s clean. Parking is no problem and the access to numerous activities and beach/lakes is awesome. Our only two complaints were the AC units (we did not use them) had black dots on the vents which were suspicious looking (it could be old dust to other things. Lighting in the house was sometimes wanting but not bad. Communicative hosts were great and we would come back again.”

“The location is great room cozy. Beds are very soft and springy. Downside is you have no control over the heat temperature. Regulated elsewhere. Luckily I brought a small fan with me. The WiFi did not work after the first night. Not able to get a response from management”

“Great place to spend the weekend! Clean and just enough room for our family of 4. My kids were very amused that the cabins were located right on the WI/MI boarder. We had to walk across the bridge several times. My boys also loved fishing in the river behind the property. We had a great stay and would come back again.”

“If your goal is to get away and just be, this is the place. It feels quite secluded although driving to the gas station, country store or to have a meal out is less than five miles. Hosts are very available and responsive.”
