"We had such an amazing time at Penelope's place! We went to Winterplace and had some winter fun, saw lots of places in the New River Gorge National Park...the Bridge, Thurmond, Grandview, Cathedral Falls. Considering the spread out nature of the gorge, this was the perfect middle spot. The home is adorable. Check in was super easy, host was very easy to communicate with. "Very cute, comfortable, and well put together cottage. Supplied with everything needed and some appreciated extras . Perfect location for all our hiking adventures from the south end to the north end of the park. Just 15 minutes from Bridge. Highly recommend the Bridge Walk! Hope to be back to the area with some friends and will stay at this cottage again!"

"My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cute little house in a quiet hilly neighborhood not far from New River gorge. It was extremely clean and really nicely decorated. The kids loved the basement cam room, the hot tub, and the fire pit which has tons of firewood available. The linens and coffee and popcorn station were all very nice. I was surprised for the EV charger for our car which worked out perfect."

Enjoyed sharing memories around the fire and hot tub and the game room saved the night when the entire town and surrounding areas lost power from a wicked storm.
