“Had a wonderful visit! Property was very clean and welcoming. Beautiful views! We enjoyed watching the cows graze. The property is a little off the beaten path and will be about a 20 minute drive to stores/restaurants. If you are looking for a little quiet time and wanting to relax this is the place! The property manger Amber was very friendly and hospitable. I gave her a call about the Wi-Fi, she was at the house to help within minutes, and got it working! It had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Front Royal where there was plenty to do; yet also steps away from a trail in the neighborhood, which intersects with the AT. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. ”

“This place provided exactly what we needed in order to hike the 9 mile loop trail at Old Rag Mountain. Only a few miles down the road. Jimm was an excellent host and provided a lot of good information for the area. We loved being by the creek!”

“The cottage was well appointed and fun. The bathroom and bedroom are on different levels so be prepared for that. It was nice having the hot tub but it had a ton of bugs in it. The views and land were beautiful. Never able to find the animals and the office was closed on a Sunday so no one to ask for assistance. The directional arrows at the property are very confusing. ”

“My husband and I loved our stay at the cottage. First, we arrived after dark entrance into the cottage was easy. When entered the cottage it was truly magical. There was a beautiful Christmas tree. The large beautiful king size bed was decorated for Christmas and the bed was very comfortable. The cottage was warm and comfortable. The scenery was both pristine and fun. We felt as if we were alone on this beautiful piece of land. There were animals in pens that we enjoyed watching goats, a pig and……
