“Such a beautiful hotel.”

“Historic, rustic, renovated old tb sanitorum with nice periodic decor. Outside needs painting. Beds very comfortable, rooms nice and clean. Hate the Michigan liquor laws where we could not enjoy our beverages of choice in the dining room or lobby. Stayed in our room to drink out beverages and played cards. %”

“The Lockview Motel is a cozy little motel, centrally located to downtown Sault Saint Marie. The room was clean, as be little my musty smelling. Sheets and be towe my s be were clean. We be enjoyed by our be stay.”

“Bad breakfast selection as many have said. Apparently hotel doesn't worry about it. Great location but outdated. Slow draining sinks, loud bath fan. AC wasn't keeping up the 1st night, later redeemed itself. Staff was friendly. Clean so can't complain for price we paid and location.”

“Clean room and great space w kitchen No staff available but the information in the folder provided anything we needed I liked that the coin laundry services were available for use for a family of 5 this was useful and I wasn't planning on being able to wash clothes but nice surprise”

“Easy access off the highway. Breakfast was mediocre, not many choices and served/ ended early. Parking lot was AWEFUL! Huge pot holes all over the entire lot. Not very clean, sheets and towels were clean but the floor in our room was dirty, sandy and full of crumbs. I asked to have our room swept/vacuumed and was ignored. The rest of the hotel was dirty & unkempt. Garbage piled everywhere.”

“The floor plan was pretty cool- queen bed was upstairs in a loft area by itself and king bed in the main room. The fridge was on the fritz, but maintenance came right away to fix. Unfortunately the room had a “pet smell”, as folks can bring their animals along. All in all, we would stay here again!”

“Had to ask to be moved from the first room. Air conditioner was blowing hot air and noisy. Desk was rude and unhelpful. Check out desk person was clueless. Breakfast looked good and well stocked.”

“Good value, co-owned with the Best Western next door. Not fancy, and the room smelled like the deodorant used on a room that has been smoked in, but the swimming pool at the BW as well as the free breakfast were great.”

“The room was pretty clean, very spacious, just old and run down. Carpet should definitely be replaced. Liked being able to park right outside the door and front desk was nice and helpful. Fine stay for reasonable price”

“Cool funky vibe, roomy, nice amenities, walking distance to hiking trails (bring your bug spray and net this time of year) that go on for miles, slept to the sound of the elusive whip-poor-will call and woke up to the meep of the woodcock. My kind of place. Thanks Jason!”
