“Great staff, great location, very clean. If you are doing a short stay (1-2 nights) it’s good. However I wouldn’t want to stay for a long time (longer than a night or two) the bed wasn’t comfortable at all and they don’t have black our shades so if you have trouble sleeping with light coming in you’ll have a hard time here. Good for a short stay, not ideal for a week or more.”

“Found the room had a terrible smell, reception claimed it was the cleaning products. Smelled as bad the next day as it did when we arrived. Open Windows did not help at all”

“It's a really big Motel 6 with new facilities that I ever lived. Good front desk and nice environment.”

“Historic hotel, Abe Lincoln stayed bere in 1861 on the way to his inauguration, that had been restored /rebuilt and modernized.”

“I appreciated the housekeeping staff. They knocked on your door daily to see if you may needed cleaning, always polite. The room was clean, although I usually get a king bed when I stay at hotels they're were only queens available but it was very comfortable. Front desk staff was also polite and helpful. The only issue I had was that for several days I had to listen to a couple in the next room having loud sex several times a day which became annoying.”

“Water was turned off, no showers no flushing toilets for a period of time. Pool unavailable (closed due to crack), no room service, had to hunt down cleaning crew, no room telephone (broke), bathroom sink handle broken. When brought to attention of front desk staff immediately upon arrival, no service”

“The room was clean but outdated. The elevator wasn’t working the 3 nights I was there ,and the vending machines were not filled. I tried other floors also, the only option was to get one at the front desk. The rest of the property was beautiful and the view, amazing.”
