“If you love the sound of train horns blaring at close proximity all night long every half hour or so, then this place is for you! The awful sleep is enough to rank this super low. The pond and inflatable wibit are a hit with the kids though, and the private cabins are clean enough and air conditioned. Hotels.com should have listed up front before booking that you must BRING YOUR OWN LINENS. We were lucky that we had some random sleeping bags and pillows with us or we would have had to buy……

“Standard room, bed was comfortable, shower was good. Coffee maker was dirty on the inside. We we close to public laundry and exit door, so you hear people talking. Breakfast was cold, rubbery scrambled eggs, room temperature sausage patty, and surprised yogurt was from NY, sad for being in the dairyland. Gas station next door was nice. Air conditioner takes a while to cool the room. Overall not a bad stay for a night. A lot of guests were employees who are working on highway construction. They……

“If you are looking for a peaceful getaway in very clean accommodations, this is a great place for you. If you want to relax, it's nice a quiet with a view of the river or if you want to be more active, it's one hour from Madison and 15 minutes for walking trails and kayaks. You can walk 5 minutes to grab something easy to eat or run to the gas station for small stuff. The cabin felt like it was brand new, and we would definitely recommend this place to others.”

“Very pleased with my stay. Room was clean and nice. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The parking garage entrance is difficult to navigate with a truck. The pool was out of commission. Not enough of an issue to reduce my rating.”
