"Hotel inside was lovely, clean and friendly staff, great breakfast. Only issue is there was a lot of building works which meant the car back was reduced in size so we had to go to an overflow at the Excel. This was a short walk away but at least it was complementary. The biggest issue we had was leaving we left the overflow carpark and followed the ‘exit’ signs which brought us out literally inti a building site and the site crew were not happy we’d driven round there, and I was worried that...

"Indian restaurant closed which was disappointing as this was a determining factor in my decision to stay. Explanation being ‘they’re doing something in the kitchen’ but not communicated at any point in the booking process. Also never mentioned gym or pool during check in so maybe that was closed too..."

"The hotel was closed. We had not been told. There were mice running around the reception! We were moved hotel and where we went was lovely but the main reason we booked this hotel was for the swimming pool for our children and the hotel we moved to didn’t have one."

"We had a great stay -- room was not huge but it was nice. Only real negative could be that our room window looked out at a wall, but honestly, we didn't look out very often :-)"
