"Beautiful hotel, nice stay"
We had 1 overnight stay and enjoyed staying here overall. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly in answering any questions we had about local spots to visit and general information. The location is great, within walking distance of many restaurants and near the French quarter. The lobby is beautiful and the bar was cute and had some live music the night we were there. The only cons were- no ice bucket in the room and the bedding could be updated as it seemed a little dated. That said, we would definitely stay here again!

"Great hotel! Close to everything."
Beautiful hotel room for the price. Close to all of the main attractions in New Orleans. Love the view of the city from our room. Also loved the ability to look over St Charles avenue when stepping out to our balcony.

"Hotel stay."
I stayed with my Mother for 5 nights and 6 days. The rooms were very nice for the weather at this time. It was relatively quiet in the rooms (considering we were only half a block away from Bourbon St.) I felt the Hotel was in a great location via the shops, and food.

"Nice location at the center of French quarter"
Good location, friendly staff, clean room, new bathroom, hot breakfast, everything is in a walking distance. The only complain is the noise that lasts through the night, especially for rooms at 5th floor. It sounded like a big air conditioner compresser running just above our bed. It was not terrible but annoying.

"Great location & atmosphere"
This hotel has a real feel of New Orleans. Our room, the courtyard and stairs, and the balconied building all had great atmosphere. The location was perfect--we walked everywhere and felt quite safe. We really enjoyed our room, and the occasional noise from our fellow guests night-time returns didn't bother us as much as make us feel like we were in a "happening" place. We really enjoyed our stay, and the staff was absolutely the best. Their helpfulness, availability, and knowledge of New Orleans couldn't have been better. I'd give the hotel a "5" except it's an older building and therefore the rooms may not be as modern as some folks would like, although it suited us just fine.

"Experience NOLA for Christmas "
Mother and daughter trip, this was our 2nd time staying at The Old No. 77, and it was still as pleasing as the first visit. This time in the hotel lobby there was a art show and several candles/collectible items for sell. Our trip was to experience NOLA during the Christmas holiday season. The hotel is in close proximity to French Quarter, casino, and several restaurant's. The holiday decoration in New Orleans was beautiful and so were the decorated homes in the Garden District. Hotel Room - this time we stayed in a interior room (no window), room was spacious and clean. The only drawback one would expect is no natural light. Our initial room had a long narrow window, but was on the first floor in the back of the hotel (no view) and had a wet smell. Had no issues with front desk on room change, and ensuring I had a room with a traditional tub/showerhead (No rainfall shower). We were greeted each time as walked in and out of the hotel by staff.

"Nice hotel with some charm a block off Bourbon St"
I enjoyed this hotel. It was close to another hotel where I had to attend a conference, but it was significantly more affordable. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was also helpful and friendly. It is located a block off Bourbon Street, so it's not quite as noisy as hotels right in the midst of the action, but you can still hear music and such from all the activity. That didn't really cause a problem with me for sleeping. The hotel is also close to lots of restaurants and the fun of the French Quarter.
