“The activities group is great and a lot of fun at the main pool. The golden pool has an amazing staff like Miguel. The rooms are clean, all staff is friendly and helpful! Selection of restaurants is great! The elevator in our building #1 didn’t work 98% of the time so walking to the third floor wasn’t fun multiple times a day. ”

“This property was gorgeous. We stayed with our family of 4, including 2 teenage sons. There was something for everyone. The staff was wonderful and extremely attentive. The pools, gyms and restaurants were all amazing. My only complaint- not even really a complaint, is that the property doesn’t have food close by unless you do room service. The room service was excellent, tons of food for the price. They offered coffee in the lobby but would have been nice to have a place to have drinks or……

“Small, intimate hotel right on the water with a spacious infinity pool, excellent personaized service, attentive staff and beautiful ocean views from every room. I had the all inclusive option which made things very easy especially since there really isn't any other options nearby as far as restaurants so all inclusinve makes sense. They are very generous with food and drinks, the poolside bar and cafe serves all day until 4:30 and the restaurant serves breakfast until late dinner with a new……

“We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride……

“They consider themselves as luxury but they are really not. There were mice droppings ALL OVER the outside of the room in the hallways. Mice droppings in the staircase corners. They have an infestation!!! Also everything is made pretty cheap (furniture, decor, etc). The staff was overwhelmed with the occupancy the week we were there. Would not come back. Hector at the pool and beach was great!! And the lady that did the margarita class was awesome!”

“This was a very calm, relaxing resort. If you want a calm vacation, this is your spot. This is family friendly resort so if you’re looking for late nights, this is not the place. Bars close at 11pm and everything else seemed to close earlier than that. Located right on the beach, which was fantastic! There is seed weed so be prepared for that. They do try to keep it cleaned however it’s not always. Check in and out was pretty quick and easy and the entire staff was super helpful and……

“The hotel is nice, but I wouldn’t visit again. The bungalows are dated and the water below is murky and filled with seaweed. We couldn’t use the beach, because of the seaweed. They were working hard to try and remove it, but it didn’t work. The food is delicious, but the menu doesn’t change much, so after 3 days, we were bored with the food options. There were ants in our room, so we called the front desk and they sent someone to spray the room. The fumes caused me to itch all over, so that……

“Our Villa was not on the beach but it was spectacular. With a private pool and jacuzzi. It was family-friendly. Many activities for the kids. Bicycles were given to each family member. The beach area is amazing. It has a great restaurant and a nice pool. The restaurants at the hotel and at the other Mayakoba hotels are very good. The best part is the staff. They accommodate and coordinate everything you want. Our personal concierge Madai was GREAT! ”
