"We really enjoyed our time at Bear Cottage. Only a few feet to waters edge allowed us it see ducks a beaver, 2 bald eagles a heron and other birds! A short ride brought us deer, porcupines, a partridge, and gorgeous trees. The night sky was so clear we could see the Milky Way. We’ll be back!!"

"The property was beautiful and well kept. Nice cozy cabin with hard wood throughout. Owner provided items needed which is nice like kitchen items, kitchen and bathroom towels and wash rags. Nice little lake with pier overlooking the lake and quiet neighborhood, very relaxing overall which is the point of the trip. Wood provided. "We had a great time. This is our 2nd trip to the Eagles Nest and again we were highly impressed. This place is comfortable, relaxing, fun, and very serene. To look out at the water like glass from not only the whole living room, but also the bedroom. I highly, highly recommend this place and we definitely will be back. Do not hesitate to book your trip as a couple or a family to the Eagles Nest. The hosts are informative and communicate very well. I rate this place 5 stars without a second...

"Great little cabin in the woods and on the lake! We stayed mid-week in October so there were no guests in the main house (which shares a driveway and is nearby). The place is super nice and recently remodeled and was very clean. The only downside was the water pump that is just off the bathroom as it is rather loud and it was unexpected. Once we were aware we just closed the bathroom door to ignore it."
