"We loved our weekend getaway! Remote location, we enjoyed exploring some nearby trails, looking for wildlife tracks, and wading at the swimming hole. The driving directions were very helpful and while SUV would likely be beneficial on some of the roads, our Subaru Outback did just fine. Accommodations were as described and beds were comfortable. I really enjoyed drinking my coffee while watching the sunrise and my toddler play in the living room."

"The cabin is an ideal retreat for two with a stunning view of the river. We enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee with breakfast in the morning, snacking a quick bite outdoors for lunch, and grilling steaks on the deck with a Bud for him and a glass of wine for me at dinner. Fishermen in their boats drifting by, water birds and eagles soared above the river, and song birds twittered in the trees. Indoors was comfortable and cozy. One night we watched a storm roll in from over the mountains...

"I’ve stayed at this cabin a few times now. It’s in a great location if you want to be close to the Buffalo River. Cell service is spotty, which is really a blessing as I get away from my phone and enjoy reading or sitting on the porch. David is an excellent host!"

"This was my second visit to the cabin, and like the first, I enjoyed every minute there. I returned to work on wrapping up the novel I started last year, and the peace and quiet in this lovely setting was everything I needed. Bonus: I was there for the unexpected northern lights flare, and without any light pollution, I caught some amazing images on my phone! Great cabin—clean, comfortable, and cozy—and wonderful hosts. I will definitely return!"

"We absolutely loved this property!! So quiet and relaxing but just a short drive to all of the fun and action! The house was fully furnished which is sometimes rare! We all sleep with fans and usually have to buy or bring our own but they had them for each bedroom! Spices and about everything you need in the kitchen already there! Plenty of paper towels and toilet paper also! We will definitely be back!!!"

"We had a super good time on the White River. My husband caught a really nice Brown Trout upon arrival. The place was spotless!! It does take a 4x4 and Kenneth was very upfront about that. Front wheel drive will work too. Great get-a-way. It needs a cutting board and the upstairs king bed needs a mattress, but that is the only thing missing. We had such a great time. Three couples between 49 and 65 and it had everything. Loved it."

"This is a beautiful home right by the lake. There were geese that came up in the back yard every day. The bed was very comfortable 😌. Future guests, when you enter the community go strait down and take the last right. The house will be right there in the left by the water. "
