The location was great for our purposes, there were plenty of food options near by and the complementary fruit and coffee/tea in the morning was very helpful to get our day started. We felt specially welcomed by Crystal at the front desk. Her friendly personality will be forever remembered as one of the highlights of a wonderful trip."

"Hotel has been updated some since our last stay. We have stayed here every summer in june for 6 years now. Its at the end of the strip, its a great price range, and it has all that we need. Staff is very nice. The bell hop guys are helpful and hilarious. Beds are comfortable. We will always choose this place."

"Honestly this was an amazing find for a downtown Chicago stay. If you’re super picky about how the room looks and want something modern, this isn’t for you. If you want a great location, helpful staff, affordable rates, and sound proof walls, then this is your place."

"Check-in staff was beyond friendly to start with! Love the secure aspect for use of the elevators, and the breakfast is phenomenal, changing daily with quite the spread and again friendly staff! The rooms were beautifully done, and ingenious --from the spaciousness under the beds to the universal bathroom door, and doorless shower, to the beauty of the wood/general decor. The rooftop bar was nice the one night we went, with a gorgeous view of the city. The only suggestion we would have is to possibly look into Valet parking or to make the parking that is available with 'in-and-out' privileges if staying at the hotel. Otherwise you're spending an arem and a leg if you have to drive. We would absolutely stay here again! :)"

River Hotel

"Very small room, great sheets and pillows but stiff and squeaky mattress. Some mold in the shower. Carpet had a few stains. Fairly quiet up on the 23rd floor where my room was. LOVED the chilled free water station by the elevators and the coffee pods in the room, my room was actually missing the coffee but I called the desk and some were brought up rapidly. Very pleasant check in woman at front podium."
