"The room I was in was for handicapped people. So it was perfect for me. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk person was extremely helpful. However externally the place needs “help”."

"It’s a good hotel but it definitely can use more love. Sheets and bed have stains but nothing crazy yet when I went to ask for new sheets they didn’t have any at all because they were sold out but as a hotel you should always have extra sheets, towels and all that. They do have amazing housekeeping people because they leave the door open while they clean and they do their best but they can’t do much when the sheets, towels etc. they have to use are stained. Shower was clogging as well. The trim in the bathroom was broken so restroom door wouldn’t stay closed. Other than that comfortable bed, AC works amazing and cool parking."

Best Western Inn & Suites - Midway Airport

"The name "Midway Airport" is misleading, as this hotel doesn't really have anything to do with the airport. The parking lot is also quite small. I do want to recognize the young man working the front desk on the night shift. He had outstanding hospitality skill, he was professional, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. He made the best impression during our stay and deserves recognition for his excellent customer service. I wish I had gotten his name so I could name him. His hospitality skills deserves to be at a top tier hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was very disappointing. It was under construction, but this was never disclosed when I booked. Had I known, I would have chosen a different hotel, especially considering it wasn't inexpensive. The hallways were covered in plastic sheeting, there was plaster work in progress, dust in the air, and a noticeable construction smell throughout the property. There were also many large dogs in the hotel, which added to the uncomfortable atmosphere. Overall, I did not feel like I was staying at a quality hotel. The condition of the property completely ruined what was supposed to be a special mother-daughter getaway. It was not worth the price I paid, and I left feeling disappointed. I contacted Expedia right away asking to be moved to another hotel as I felt deceived but it didn’t happen. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Unfortunately, the restaurant and lounge were temporarily closed and there was a mechanical problem that caused the elevators and hallways to be very hot. However, these were temporary conditions and I, otherwise, loved my stay. I will stay here again in the future and look forward to experiencing the hotel when everything is up and running. The staff was amazing. The room was amazing. I look forward to a return visit."

While an additional deposit is required, which is not explicitly stated during the booking process, the transaction was handled efficiently. My deposit was refunded to my account within three days of my departure. I highly recommend this location."
