“Right up against beach area with white sand. Good size pool. Property is inside protected reserve, and surrounded by a jungle with a single road for access. Couple of nearby restaurants are accessible walking on the beach, or the road, and have excellent food. With everything else in the area for other activities (Cenote, water parks etc), this offers the best location to stay and unwind and explore. ”

“Upon arrival, all of the stuff was super sweet. I was traveling solo and since I already had a bad experience with the prior to hotel services, it was refreshing to receive service like Astral. Staff ALWAYS checked up on me to see if I needed anything from food to cleaning to small chats. Everyone was super kind. The room was clean, and there was hot water, the views from the bubble were incredible at night except maybe they could be power washed just a little to clean the debris from the trees……

“Staff were wonderful through my week stay. Room was clean and tidy. Food was really good too. Restaurant service was also wonderful. It’s a very small and quaint place so I didn’t really see any people this week. The only suggestion I have is around pool area and water maintenance of the pools as it is the only water you can dip into on the property. The running water ran out for about an hour each day around 3pm like clock work. The pool you get on the terrace is also not clean water and the……

“We stayed at the Holiday Inn Tulum for 2 nights as a group of 9, travelling as a family, and honestly it was a bit of a mixed bag. We had booked 3 rooms and specifically asked to be close together. Instead we were spread across 3 completely different levels, which made things really inconvenient with kids and coordinating plans. It kind of defeated the whole purpose of booking as a group.
