5/5 Excellent

Such a great location!!
This place is inside the park, and less than a mile from the road to Glacier Point. Coming on from the south side makes for so much less traffic when head into the valley. We'll definitely be booking this again

4/5 Good

Great Location
Four stars are for the location. This was a rough place to stay, but once my husband and I viewed it more like camping it was a little easier to take! This is place is no frills. It reminds me of staying in the old family cabin. Nothing really awful, but it's definitely not fancy! I mostly took off the one point because for some reason our name was not on the list of people staying in the park. Because there is no service at all we had no way to contact the company while we were at the gate trying to get in. We were given a drive through pass which meant we could not explore Yosemite on our first day. The next morning we had to go back to a gate, wait in line again, and try to explain the situation. It was extremely stressful. If you're planning on staying here PRINT everything about your VRBO details so there is no confusion at the gate. Then hopefully you won't have to spend 6 hours waiting in gate lines with three toddlers like we did!

2/5 Poor

AC wall unit sounded like a jet plane taking off all day
Definitely not what was shown in the picture. AC wall unit was blasting like a jet engine. Hard to sleep at night. There was an odd odor the moment we walked in. Overall, I wouldn't stay here but interestingly it might have been one of the better unit since it had AC. A neighbor asked me in the morning if ours had AC and I told them 'barely'' cause it might have been running out of freon. Neighbor said theirs didn't have ac but only 2 fans so they were sweating all night. I guess I need to look at it positively. We had "ac".

2/5 Poor

Beware Management company Sucks
First off let me say the owners answered all my questions the problem was the management company they used. Remember that I chose to stay here because all of the home conveniences as you know Yosemite doesn't have a lot of dining out options. First off the images of the place shows 2 fridges and we show up and one was broken. Contacted the management company and in their text message said who did you talk to that said there were 2 fridges. Which makes no sense I wanted to respond well the pictures show a toilet do I need to ask someone to confirm if there is one...Then tried to make dinner the 1st night and only the smallest burner out of 4 works. Contacted the management company again and they stated in a text that they knew about it. What the heck they knew prior but did not contact me and give me a heads up. Go ahead and try to cook a meal with only 1 burner for a family. Another issue is that they only provided 1 towel per person and refused to provide any more. They provided coffee but no filters to make coffee. I have stayed at serval VRBO places and this is the first place that was beyond cheap and not forth-telling about broken items. Beware when you stay here as the management company sucks. Make sure to bring every little item that you think you need. Make sure to ask prior to your visit if all the appliances work.

5/5 Excellent

Amazing location, decent room
You’re definitely paying extra for the location here, but the location was very much worth it. Impossible to find other campgrounds or lodging for mid-July when we booked this place in June and even if there were other options, I would still choose this one. Seemed pretty clean all around, sinks and showerheads were surprisingly up to date in the bathrooms, AC worked well, fridge was nice to have, and check in couldn’t have been easier. The drive into the valley was about 15-20 minutes on a Saturday morning and then the drive back from sunset at glacier point was maybe 20 minutes. Loved it. The only thing was that the lamps upstairs didn’t seem to work, but it’s possible we missed where the light switch was on the wall.
