Best Resorts in Puerto Aventuras

"I spent a great time with my family, including my two kids, at the Barceló Palace. After lots of research, this hotel was the perfect choice! The pools were clean, the food was amazing with plenty of variety, and the dinner restaurants were excellent. The beach had crystal-clear water and no seaweed, though not as blue as Cancún. Some open areas like the lobby lacked strong A/C, but it was manageable. Lots of shopping options inside the hotel made everything convenient."

"This resort was excellent! The amenities were accessible and very accommodating, even for someone like me, who was 7 months pregnant. The food was about 4/5. Dolma was the BEST restaurant on the resort. Pelicanos was great as well. Asiana was doable, but not as great as expected. The buffet is the buffet, but not bad at all. The resort is a few short steps from 5th Ave, so there are opportunities to enjoy nightlife and some shopping during the day. The pool was IMMACULATE. Not too crowded, extremely clean, and the service was excellent. Room service was also great and timely. If you are younger or looking for a more club/turn-up vibe, this is not the place for you. Entertainment is light and fun. This is more for the relaxed individual looking to escape the everyday hustle and just reset and recenter. The beach did have a lot of seaweed, but that's nature, not the resort's fault. They worked around the clock to make the seaweed go away, but there was just too much. The spa was not bad either, just a little pricey for my taste. Overall excellent experience and would definitely rebook! "

"Staff here are exceptional. Our Bellhop, Flavio, always checked in to ensure we had everything we might need. Umbertto, Ramses, and Luna were so much fun and led great pool activites....the nightly shows were fantastic. We always sat in Alberto's section in the buffet, he always had our usual drinks at the ready and shared some great laughs with us as we tried (and failed many times) to learn more Spanish. There will always be room for improvement at any establishment, but if the staff can make you forget about minor inconveniences and keep you smiling, its worth the trip every time. "

"Only issue was they needed to keep the pool cleaner. Around the outside edge was not clean. And may have ruined a swimsuit by leaning up against it. And the property had chipped and flaked paint on the exterior. "

"a little smaller resort so it made it easier to get fom one spot to another. Could use another pool or try and make some bigger. a lot of small children in the swim up bar pool and the near by "party pool".buffet food was good but not a lot of variety."

"I have absolutely no complains about our stay. Our room was big and beautiful, the beds were very comfy, the food was very tasty and very plentiful, high quality ingredients. The service was just exceptional! A big heartful thank you to the staff, who work hard day and night to make guests feel special and welcome! I would definitely return, as well as recommend this hotel to others."
