"I visited Secrets and booked my trip as a preferred guest which gave me access to everything including the neighboring hotels. The food was great, drinks, fully stocked fridge with complimentary snacks, champagne, and alcohol. Excellent room service throughout my entire stay. I felt safe. I love that they had scheduled events throughout the day and night. I do believe if the room was a little more up to date, this would’ve made the stay a 10 hands down. "The catalonia riviera maya was beautiful. Resort is beautiful, clean. Pools are great. Restaurant food is all delicious. Buffet could be a bit better. We went in june so off season and a lot of times a la cartes would be closed several times a week. If you didnt go to breakfast by 10 it was difficult to eat before supper we really had to plan meal times. Bartenders could have been friendlier but everyone else was lovely. Such a relaxing and lovely resort. Will definitely go back."

"The place itself is very nice. Rooms are beautiful and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. Shower gets hot and is spacious. Loved the blackout curtains. Resort is very quiet during the day and at night and not at all a party scene. Drinks were always tasty and detailed. Only negative was the sargassum on the beach that was not present at other nearby resorts."
