"During my stay there was a fire and we had to evactuate. I got separated from my son and I found him in a matter of minutes, but after evryone was allowed to go back into their rooms, I later recieved a call fom the front desk to ensure that I fouind my son. There was a lot going on and the staff handled this better then the Fire Department and the Police! I will be staying here again!"

"We try and stay here at the Schooner when in Va Beach. Pretty affordable and the amenities are great. The staff are always friendly. The rooms are very clean. We did notiice that there is some aging and wear in the rooms. Our hot tub needed to be resurfaced and shut off multiple times. Issues that can be resolved. All in all its a really great hotel. Thanks again"

"We spent three days and two nights at the property. Except for eco-friendliness the hotel displayed excellence in virtually every other rating category. Even the breakfast was excellent for the price point. "

"The room was very nice and the staff was very friendly from the front desk to breakfast to even the staff that cleans the rooms. Wish there was a dinner place in the hotel or a small convience store type place on site, but there was plenty to eat around the area and market type places a short walking distance, so it wasnt a big deal. The view was great from our room and had no problem with parking. Would definitely stay there again next time."

"The water went from hot to cold during the 2nd person’s shower 5-10 min after the first. We were told that we had to let the water run cold for several minutes and then the hot water would come back on. Also, our door from the hall into the room, would not latch until the repairman came and fixed it."
