“This resort was amazing for our family vacation! Booking through Expedia provided a room upgrade and our concierge team Kena and Regina were extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The a la carte restaurant selection is great (Mediterranean, Brasilian, Japanese, etc), with each providing its own experience with top notch food and service. We were able to go parasailing, scuba diving, snorkeling and jet skiing right from the resort. Great amenities here. The water park……

“This is the worst 5-star all-inclusive experience our family had during christmas. We did not have hot shower for three nights and the room has been freezing cold. We informed the hotel the first night and they kept sending maintenance people without fixing it. And whats worse, they did not really care about our problems. Everytime I called them, I need to explain the situation again. And what I got is 'we will send someone to fix' ' the hotel is fully booked so not possible to change the room'……

“Everythignnwas great! Be aware that the beach thugh is swimable and water was warm on the last couple of days there was quite of bot of seaweed. Though the staff was trying really hard to keep cleaning it up. Food was good. One thing I was diappointed was pizza and coffee. I am not sure how pizza;s were never done. They were baked on top and pretty raw at the bottom. Thank God for the capucinno and expresso at the bar that made up for the coffee. Overall very happy with this respor definitely……

“The kids club was great and the staff was very kind. The pools were great, The food options were quite limited throughout the day. Breakfast ends at 10:30 AM, and there is only one location available for breakfast, which makes it feel restricted. There is a food truck on-site, but the offerings are mostly geared toward kids, lacking variety and not particularly healthy. In other places we’ve stayed, there is usually a fruit buffet available all day, along with a café-style area offering……

“Our Villa was not on the beach but it was spectacular. With a private pool and jacuzzi. It was family-friendly. Many activities for the kids. Bicycles were given to each family member. The beach area is amazing. It has a great restaurant and a nice pool. The restaurants at the hotel and at the other Mayakoba hotels are very good. The best part is the staff. They accommodate and coordinate everything you want. Our personal concierge Madai was GREAT! ”

“my husband and myself stayed for a week and had the most wonderful time. All the staff are wonderful. We did not encounter one person that was not kind or willing to help when needed. We did stay in the privilege section and although did not use the beach area or quite pool we still feel everything else included was worth it. Our butler Leidy was amazing and every request was met with no problem, even on her day off. ”
