“Perfect location on Half Moon Bay to enjoy the laid back vibe. Can walk to almost everything including Yal-ku lagoon for amazing snorkeling and the turtle preserve. Our late September visit was somewhat hampered by seasonal heavy seaweed on the beach but swimming was good at the preserve, Yal-ku and hotel pool. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable (we got the small apartment). The adjoining Buena Vida restaurant and bar had amazing food and sunset views. A wonderful place.”

“The property is right on the beach! We were unable to get in the water and use a lot of the amenities, like paddle boards, due to the sargassum (which is on every beach in the Riviera Maya). The restaurant staff were very attentive and the breakfast was good. They made us a to go meal on our last day. There is no other choice for meals in the area, so you need a car if you want to eat elsewhere. Taxis were $400-450 Mex pesos for a one way ride to the nearest village. You get 1 bottle of water……

“This is a very special place. It's a little off the beaten path, which made for a very relaxing vacation. The whole area felt entirely safe.
