Pros: Sits in a lot with a lot of acres of grass and flowers including about six llamas and a monstruous turtle. It has a beautiful pool with lovely mountai
Cons: Nothing
Location: The hotel is close to downtown a five minute cab ride yet the area where it is located in like a big park without noise or pollution, a great place.
This is a great hotel very well maintained. The hotel is of old construction with lots of space everywhere but it has been modernized maintaining the old structures.

Best in Arequipa

Posted Nov 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
It is my prefered hotel in Arequipa due to swimming pool, gym and , beautiful setting. No aircon and rooms get stale air, service at restaurant is low standard but they try. great car park. Breakfast is served cold, dinner menu is very limited, we had to order delivery after a couple of days.

Lovely hotel convenient to downtown Arequipa

Posted Nov 14, 2013
Pros: Nice grounds and comfortable facilities.
Cons: Sauna could be fixed.
Location: Downtown Arequipa and the main square is only a ten minute walk, so it is very convenient for local sightseeing.
We stayed in a garden room with a King bed. The room was very clean and comfortable. The heat did not work, but fortunately, the night was not too cold. The staff are very accomodating and helpful. The gym is small but with very good equipment. The massage services in the spa were very good and only cost $35 for a one hour massage. The sauna is free to guests, but unfortunately did not heat up well. The lunch menu is limited, so it is probably better to eat in town. However, the breakfast is excellent and the dinner menu is fantastic (and not too overpriced). Try the Sea Bass---it's amazing! Also, the Pisco Sours were some of the best of the trip. A very enjoyable place to stay.

Quiet respite from the city

Posted Sep 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is a few minutes (5-7 minute tax) outside the main center, which makes it quiet and peaceful. The surrounding green helps too. The pool seemed nice but it was too cold to swim when I was there. Rooms are comfortable but lack some basics (dresser). Although the bed is nice and the bathroom is very clean. Service is the main weakness. Perhaps a lack of training makes it a bit slow and not as client centered as you would hope. But it wasn't bad, just not great.
