“Best location to visit Acadia National Park and surrounding area”
The owners of the motel were extremely accommodating and very warm and friendly; We couldn't ask for a better location, allowing us the availability to go in any direction with ease. It had all the comforts that we needed, as well as a nice breakfast in the A.M. on the open-air patio, looking at the beautiful flowers growing in the adjacent garden. We would recommend the motel to anybody, and intend to go back the next visit to Acadia and Maine.
“Great value”
The hotel was nicely furnished. The staff was friendly. The area was quieter than most because it was not on a major highway. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that that they offered a continental breakfast. Would stay again in the future.
“Quaint, cozy and convenient”
There was a very cozy feel. The room was clean, we could bring our dog. The owners were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was good, even thought it was not the full continental during the off season. Yes, I would recommend the Twilite Motel, and will definitely return to it if we are in the area again.
“Nice surprise”
A great bargain - exceptionally clean funky little hotel. Would definitely stay there again.
“Would love to go back- super cozy, great memories”
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, the coffee was good, the room amenities were nice, very comfortable and a cute antique look. Great deal for the money!!!
“A very friendly but rustic motel in maine.”
For the price this is a great little motel. It is of the old school 50s - 70s construction with varnished pine trim. The room was clean the people were very friendly. The breakfast was adequate, the environment was exceptional. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.
“Great for the price”
Clean basic and cheap this motel was a great find. The owner was helpful and polite and my friends and I enjoyed our stay here.
“definitely go back next time”
Very nice people and the room is very clean. Enjoy it and will go back next time.
“clean old basic motel”
This is very clean motel kept by a very friendly couple. However, this is typical cheap-looking old fashion motel w/ tiny bathroom and old fashion décor. Based on a quick look, breakfast was very basic – just pastry and toasts; it was also very crowded there. My husband refused to eat there so I cannot comment on details. We had long drive ahead of us and he wanted more substantial meal. I would probably stay there again; my husband considered it a rip-off for what they offer for the price; especially given a fact that it was off-season time.
