Mom /daughter a Buffalo getaway

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Clean and comfy...perfect location
Cons: Faster food service.
Location: Buffalo naval park, city country market, theatre, dining, baseball game, casino .
Adam's Mark was classy all the way! The room was clean and plush and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the food and drinks in the restaurant as well as room service. Service was slow, but it was friendly, and it tasted good. Check in was quick and easy...and the easy in and out parking was a plus. Proximity to downtown was key..lots to do do in downtown Buffalo and all a short walk from Adam's Mark.

Average Hotel, nothing special.

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Close to the border.
Cons: Price, beds, include breakfast.
We stayed overnight in order to attend a concert at the Outer Harbour. Hotel itself was ok. Clean, average decor, friendly staff. But wayyyy overpriced! We paid 200 US for a night's stay…crazy! The only reason we stayed here is because it was slim pickins for hotels when we booked. The staff was not very knowledgable when it came to their surrounds, as they gave us incorrect directions to the concert venue, telling us it was a 10 minute walk when it fact it was more than 3 miles from the hotel and required a ferry ride. The double beds seemed smaller than the average double bed, and the fitted sheets did not even cover the mattress. Wouldn't stay here again unless they were charging half of what we paid.

Mediocre. Not terrible but nothing special.

Posted Jul 11, 2014
The hotel was in a convenient location for us, as we wanted to be able to walk th The First Niagara center for a show. The hotel is old and the rooms show it. There was really nothing special about it. It served its purpose for our 1 night stay, but if we were staying longer I would have preferred something a bit better. I think, for the price, it could have been better. Staff was friendly, though. You do have to pay for parking, which I find ridiculous.

Room to sleep is OK, but nothing more than that...

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: If you just need a place to stay and sleep and go, its fine when I paid only $80 per night including tax.
Cons: Air conditioning on each floor not just the room itself. The swimming pool needs the water be running, no dirt in it.
Location: Not much to choose from. We are for shopping only.
If you are in a tour and need a place to stay and sleep, that hotel is fine. If you prefer a nice breakfast, it is bad when compared to price ($12.99@), even though 2 are free. If you get a family of 4, then you better let the ones with the coupon eat, the remaining eat at somewhere else. The coffee is terrible. The air-conditioning is OK on the main floor only, NOT ON every floor, Even though each room has its own air conditioning, but if you don't mind the noise, its fine. I look at the pool picture and prepare to swim, but when actually look at it....I reserve my bathing suit in my suitcase. The pool is not working, you can see dirt in the pool, it doesn't have water flow in it to clear the pool. The pool is big, but the sauna room is in the exercise room, which is not convenient.
