Very welcoming on arrival.Room comfortable. Breakfast satisfactory.

“OK, BUT........”

A large Victorian house - we had the en suite room which was huge. The welcome (from the owners son) was abrupt. The weather was cold and the room heating inadequate - central heating radiators and an electric heater turned to maximum did not get the room to a reasonable temperature. The breakfast was fine and the breakfast-time service (from the owner) excellent. Overall, though, we wouldn't stay here again.
