“Pleasant stay”

This low cost hotel provided a good mattress, a quiet environment, a clean room, and a convenient location. It was all we wanted. We also got a decent cup of morning coffee with real milk. The rest of the breakfast was the usual packaged material ...easy to ignore.

“Good value for the price!”

This is a no frills place to stay, but the rooms were clean and everything was in working order. For a quick overnight to visit my son at college, this is a great value for the money!

“Cheap, No Frills, OK”

This hotel is just east of Corning and situated next to Corning Country Club. It likely dates back at least 50 years but is in acceptable condition. The rooms are very small, the bathrooms are tiny and all could use a refreshing, but the facility was clean and everything worked in the room. It's among the more inexpensive options in the Corning area and likely to remain that way. If you're a single traveler or a couple who want a cheap place to sleep, you could do worse.

“Great for roadside convenience...”

This motel is fine for what it is...a convenient roadside stop on a trip through the area. Patient gentleman (who was likely trying to get some sleep in the adjacent apartment) checked us in as we arrived late (after 11pm). Affordable stop for those seeking a bed for the night.

“Adequate - no frills.”

As stated above, the motel was in the middle of nowhere, though accessible to Corning by private car. The room was adequate but noise from an adjacent room was audible unless the TV was on. The electricity in the bathroom did not function unless the light switch was turned on -a minor frustration.

The fan in the bathroom was too loud. The room felt like floor was wet.

“not impressed”

we were going to a party 3 hours from home. just looking for a place to sleep nothing fancy. i didnt expect much. the room was dirty no hot water bathroom was disgusting furniture was broke tv was real small. we will never stay there again.

“Not a deal”

Sadly this place was in such bad shape, with stains on the bedding and the towels looked like they were NEVER washed. We wanted a quick weekend trip and tried to 'get a deal' on an overnight stay, so I guess its our fault. Really a bad experience. I wouldn't of minded the 'run down' part of it, but the towels and bedding being stained made it feel really dirty. Will not EVER do that again! Staff was nice enough, but could not understand most of what was said.

“Language Barrier”

Both by phone and in person, it was impossible to effectively communicate with the front desk personnel. And requests for English speaking employees to assist were not understood. Additionally, the shower was dirty and the toilet was approximately an inch from the wall, forcing my average sized husband to turn sideways.
