“Hidden gem!”
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much. Returning to Glasgow for a visit after living in the city for 6 years, I simply wanted a decent place to lay my head in a reasonable location, a step up from a hostel and the cheap B&Bs that litter the West End. What I found was a fantastic boutique hotel in a super location convenient to both the West End and city center, near Sauciehall but far enough removed to avoid the late night madness.
Our room was tucked away in the eaves, with a pleasant view of the grand old city council building across the road. The decor was modern and the amenities were many! There was even a Playstation! The tea tray was well-stocked with goodies, and the room service menu looked amazing - with shockingly reasonable prices, too - although sadly we didn't get a chance to try it out. Next time, maybe! Because we'll definitely return, and recommend, recommend, RECOMMEND!
