Beautiful view of the Falls.

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: It's location right in the middle of everything.
We were treated with kindness and professional service. It was a very cold winter day and they had hot apple cider for the guests at the check in counter. It was great. We had asked for a room that did not have a view of the Falls, but were upgraded to a lovely room with a panoramic view of the Falls and the surrounding area. Our experience was very good. We will go back there if and when we travel that way again.

Pros: Staff was friendly.
Cons: The listing needs to be updated. Ad mentions a restaurant with a bar/lounge with room service. This is not the case. I was charged 15 for parking
Location: Brewery across the street had great food and service.
The drapes don't block the light from outside. They're just a sheer drape. If you want to sleep, find another hotel.

A break in traveling after Yellowstone Park

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Location and the room was comfortable and roomy.
Cons: Please see my comments re the experience. Business center, laundry room, international calls. Especially as the last 2 are advertised!
Location: The location was fine. We could walk to eating places in the evening. The City centre and downtown were easy to reach, as were all the main shopping a
Was really looking forward to staying at this hotel and paid the extra for a room overlooking the falls. Whilst, technically we did overlook the falls, it was from the side of the hotel and we overlooked more of the rest of Idaho Falls...no such a good view! A little disappointed that the hotel had no laundry facilities, but more disappointed that the business centres computer had been taken away and the clerk had no idea why! We needed to contact the UK by e-mail, but decided to phone from our room. The phone gave clear instructions on how to make international calls, but I couldn't make it work after a number of tries. I called the reception desk and they told me there was no international calling from the hotel. So, I felt the facilities were sadly lacking, certainly compared to the 8 other hotels we stayed in on this trip.

Never stay here!!!

Posted Oct 9, 2014
My bed had spider eggs in it and several spiders behind the headboard. I tried to call the front desk and there phones do not work! I had to call the main number. I was moved to another room and the bathroom walls were dirty aswell. The coffee maker was disgusting as well. Never stay there, ever again!

Huge rooms, great location

Posted Oct 2, 2014
Pros: Size of room and room amenities like sitting area. Location on the Falls.
Location: Right on the Falls. There's a nice pathway along the river for walks. Many restaurants in the immediate area. Convenient to airport.
The style of the building is a bit dated, but don't let that deter you! It's got a prime location just across from the Falls, the rooms are absolutely HUGE and they all have balconies. My king room also had a couch with coffee table, lounge chair with ottoman and a large work desk. Other amenities include fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and free wifi. The room was clean and well-maintained and the staff friendly. Ample parking all around the hotel.

The room was spacious and the service was great. We had a balcony that faced the waterfalls. When we opened the door you could hear the falls. It was very relaxing.

Hotel at the Falls, right on the falls!

Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Location and good value
Cons: Would be nice to have a few deck chairs on the patio to better enjoy the falls from your large balcony.
Location: The green belt around the falls and the Snake river is a beautiful place for a walk or run. Restaurants close by include a brewery, sushi, great Mex.
Location, location , location. There are other chain hotels nearby. All envious of the location of this hotel directly facing the falls which are wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful Breakfast was abbreviated but adequate, Worth paying the extra $$ to get a falls facing room.
