“Nice hotel”

Hotel was great! Clean, Comfortable, and Conviently located!

“Good, but could be better!”

The bathroom floor could have been a little cleaner, but overall everything was OK. I missed not having a microwave in the room. I would stay again.

“Not Impressed”

The staff was very nice, helpful, and friendly; however, none of the ice machines worked in the hotel and you could hear everything in the hallway and people were really loud

“Past its prime”

The Regency was a dissapointment in every respect. It's in old, worn-out condition everywhere you look. My room key sometimes didn't work at the room and never worked at the exterior staiway. The room had a malfunctioning lamp and a torn, moldy shower curtain. The towels smelled and felt like the ones from my high school gym. I started to make coffee until I realized they hadn't even bothered to provide cream or sugar. The staff was consistantly indifferent and mostly unkempt. They are certainly overpriced for what you get.

“Not Very Clean”

We found hair left in the bathtub plus some mildew. The shower curtain was in disrepair. Plus, it evidently the place in Jackson to host family reunions--there were no less than three the night we stayed and one was right across the hall.

“Probably was nice in the 60's”

When we got there was no one to check me in until I called out for about 5 minutes, but she was really nice and apologetic. She had towels in her hand so she was probably doing double duty. The bathroom floor was dirty. The closet door was only attached at the top hinge. The carpet was really old and threadbare. The continental breakfast was sparse, bread, muffins, biscuits and gravy in a warmer, cereal, milk and juice. It would have helped to have some fresh fruit and water. The toaster was old and only worked on one side. Fitness room hours were late. We found a cockroach in the bathroom. There were also only two towels in the bathroom. Noise from other rooms is also a problem. The price was low. Location was good, especially for the state fairgrounds.

“Smoke and mirrors”

The entrance and lobby looked spacious and nice. Past the hallway, you run into old, moldy carpets and ugly drop ceilings. My room had holes in the walls where the lamps should have been, no remote, no working phone. The staff promptly changed the room. The new room had the lamps, working phone and remote, but had a moldy, smelly shower curtain that the staff didn't bother to change the next day. The AC was not working properly and make an awful noise. The vending machines were empty!!

“Stay away”

There is no way that this hotel is a three-star hotel. It was dirty and rundown. I was tempted to check out and stay somewhere else, but I had already paid for the room.

“Cheap...Gross”

Nasty rooms, loud music (bass) from the hotel bar until midnight. You get what you pay for, cheap hotel and it shows.
