Pros: There was one AWESOME treadmill in the workout room!
Cons: Upgrade. Clean. Replace. Repair.
Location: There are many other hotels and stores near by. The location is great!
Our check in experience was good but I had to ask about amenities (location of bar, breakfast area, etc.). The hotel appeared quite worn and this was confirmed when I got into bed and the mattress springs creaked and poked my back all night. The towels and bedding was threadbare and so thin. There was no water pressure and no hot water at all. We had booked two nights and moved after one.

Out dated....pay 20 extra and stay somewhere else.

Just pay extra and stay somewhere else. Almost 2015 and no elevator? Place looks like an outdated apartment building.

Value Priced Hotel

Pros: The Metcalf Avenue location is convenient to shopping, major highways, and our family.
Cons: The hotel is older but attempts to improve the decor are obvious and appreciated.
Location: We visited locations in both Missouri and Kansas, including famous parks, museums, and plazas. Everything is convenient and quickly accessible.
The hotel is convenient to the SE part of the KC metro area. The hotel room included a King Sized Bed and a spacious room. That combination made our 3 night stay a winner for us.

Room has been updated and is comfortable. Bathroom needs updating. Needed a lamp lightbulb which was delivered quickly when requested. Would stay again.

We booked and paid online through Expedia, upon arrival the staff was unsure if rooms were clean or even available, even though we received confirmation for our stay. The staff wasn't welcoming & very unorganized! I overhear the staff tell another guest,"Contact Expedia for a refund and they'll get ahold of me, it'll all be ok." Never mentioning his name and/or the solution to her family of 5 not having a room. Unfortunately, we chose this place to spend the night for our anniversary! If our stay would've been refundable we would've stayed elsewhere!

Location: good location, c-store next door, close to I-435
Staff was totally indifferent, room carpet was full of stains, black mold around edges of tub, duct tape holding up wallpaper in bathroom. Yuk

House keeping was nice, but if you expect they take your dirty towels and change them for a stay over, you have to request it. The front desk put me in a room overlooking the lobby, where i was woken up by screaming and yelling at 2 and 330 am. When i asked to move and explained i was there for two weeks for work, the girl gave me attitude. Dont bother asking for extra pillows or anything... never received any when requested. No elevator and no help even offered. Housekeeping gets done in the middle of the night, and the staff opened my door at 2 am the last night i was there. As a single woman traveling for work, this really disturbed me. When i called down to the front desk, he claimed "i must have been dreaming" and his staff would never do that....
