Needs TLC

Posted May 21, 2015
Outdated, with inexpensive older furniture and fixtures. Four long blocks from nearest subway. Residential area with few close options for food / beverage. Adequate, but little more than that.

Room was not cleaned during our extended stay

Posted May 17, 2015
Hi We have booked queen room for two days and room was not cleaned after first night. Trash was remained as such and room is horrible without cleanliness. Bed was not good. Breakfast has only breads and waffles, nothing interesting. Good things was they do have shuttle to drop to near by train station to catch metro. We have fixed our problem with general manager to change of room. He was good person caring things went wrong from root level.

Nicht wieder!

Pros: Waffeln

Too noisy to sleep; horrible front desk service

Posted May 9, 2015
The hotel is about 20 yards away from the 495 Highway. Too noisy to sleep -- at 3am you can hear all big trucks rolling along the hwy and you can feel the tremor. The first night I was assigned to a room directly facing the highway. The second night I asked to change rooms and was refused by the front desk (her name is Nipa), saying they could not sell the old room if I switch a new room. I was asked to put my luggage in the hotel office and request a room change the next morning, which I did. The manager wrote down all the information and promised everything, but it turned out that the manager completely forgot about my request and I was put in the same room for the third night! More horribly, the keys across the entire hotel did not function that night and people were lining up at the front desk waiting for help to enter their room. The wait took more than 20 minutes! I cannot think of any other hotels that I stayed in the past 15 years had such a terrible condition and customer service!! Do not stay in this hotel. You are being warned.

Decent and clean

Posted May 5, 2015
I've stayed in this hotel before. This time was a bit different. The keycard to the room kept deactivating each time I left the room the first two days. Had to keep going to the front desk to get new cards. Then this time there I had my car with me. Their parking lot is so tiny and cramp you have to be super careful when driving thru to find a spot, which you might not oven find. The parking lot is also a one way so you will have to try not getting lost making all the turns necessary to find your way around the other side of the hotel. The hotel is right next to the expressway, so it might be a nightmare for light sleepers. New Yorkers sure love sounding their car horns. But besides all that, it's a good and cheap alternative to pricey hotels.

Gutes Hotel

Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: Freundlichkeit, Hilfsbereitschaft vom Personal!

Decent for the price. Friendly staff

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Staff was very friendly. Let us check in early. Location was good, shuttle to subway till 7pm, after that only a 15min to the hotel. Decent room and breakfast for the price. Not happy they don't have toothpaste, shampoo or conditioners to guests.

did not enjoy my stay at all.

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: not very much.
Cons: more or less everything.
Location: the location is right on a service road to a major high way. not much nearby.
I got in to the hotel around midnight. Parking was horrible. They only have about two dozen parking spots and they were all full so I had to drive around for a while to find street parking. I did not have a problem checking in to the room. the hotel staff was courteous but that's all I can really say about him. I ended up getting the last room available which was the closest room to the lobby. This meant that every time someone decided to have a conversation, I heard every word. Definitely woke me up around 7 when the lobby where they hold their breakfast started filling up. The room window also looked out into the smoking area at the front of the building. Also heard every conversation taking place there as well. The room itself was pretty run down. The walls needed touch up paint, the output fan in the bath room made a bad grinding noise when i turned it on. The bed was pretty hard as well. They also charged me an extra charge for my room safe that I never even used. They didn't even have bottled water in the room. I saw a display at the front desk, but there would most likely be a charge.

Too close to the highway.

I couldn't sleep due to traffic. When trucks passed by, the building was trembling like earthquake.
