Pros: Proximity to Bridgehampton
Cons: Everything
Check-in was easy and quick and we were excited about the prospect of staying so close to Bridgehampton until we got to our room. The air-conditioning unit didn’t function properly and the room was extremely hot at all times, when it was switched on it was unbelievably loud, it kept us up at night, our only option was to turn it off and sweat it out. The bed itself was extremely uncomfortable and the cheap bed frame made squeaking noises whenever one person moved. The bathroom had no sink so you have to wash our hands, teeth etc. in the main room sink which had no sink plug. The hairdryer didn’t work and the screen door didn’t shut properly. The room has a microwave and small fridge but no cutlery or cups or anything of this nature. Each night before going to bed we need to spray and kill the earwigs that populated the room during the day. We visit the Hamptons twice a year and we will never be returning to the Bridge Inn. .

Clean & well located, great staff, no hot water

Posted May 21, 2015
Stayed only one night. The room was clean, however there was no hot water and I discovered it during the evening. Slightly noisy since you can easily hear the noise coming from the road. The staff was great: giving a lot of cues about the region. Good Inn for workers, hopefully, the water issue was only temporary.

Great stay.

The rooms are pretty basic. But in an extremely neat and clean way. We had a great stay. The owner was incredibly friendly, advised us on what to do in the area and put extra wine glasses in the room after he learned we were planning on doing a winery. Walking distance to town. Would recommend.

The Bridge Inn - not fancy, but just fine!

Posted Dec 30, 2014
The Bridge Inn is reminiscent of the motels my family would stay in during a road trip of yesteryear. It's simple, but clean and cozy. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and let us know that he had heated the room and also put a football game on...just in case we had an inclination! Very pleasant man. When we booked the place, we were just spending one evening there and, truthfully, were looking for a deal. Being that it's located in the Hamptons, there are some much more elegant places that cost double of The Bridge Inn, but we didn't need anything quite that posh. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. When we checked out, the man at the desk offered us coffee and said that he had made the pot in case we wanted some...and, yes, we did want some! The half and half was a nice touch. I would stay there again.

Dear Bethany, I am so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us at The Bridge Inn. Yes, we are currently a very simple establishment, but we do pride ourselves on keeping it very clean and comfortable for our guests. We are trying to work through a renovation project to update the Inn; hopefully we will get the approvals needed to move forward soon. I hope that you come and join us again soon, and I thank you for your kind words. Have a wonderful day!
