Cheap, on the marina, but a bit like roughing it

Posted Nov 30, 2014
This motel was much cheaper than one located in the heart of Alameda, and it is located right on the marina, which is pretty. But the rooms are pretty worn down, the bed and pillows are not comfortable, and the bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired. In retrospect, I would have paid more for a higher quality experience. As one of my friends put it, if you go, go big!

Don't stay here!

Dirty outdated rooms. This place has not been renovated in at least 20 years. Wi-Fi is sketchy, no breakfast other than weak coffee and watered down juice and old dried out oranges. One day they had frozen bagels.

Pros: Love the location being next to the water...
Cons: Second floor access, only stairs.
Location: Lots to do in the area
Stayed there many times, love the location and value.

Why Me

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Not much of anything other than location.
Cons: everything!
Location: The only thing going for this place.
I have never stayed in a hotel/motel that did not have a directory for the tv--never. And the media selections were worse than poor. Need to find a new place to stay the next time I am in the area.

OK for a cheap overnight stay in the Bay Area

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: The price, the free parking and the free Wi-Fi
Cons: Everything
Location: Nothing particularly notable apart from the fact that it is only 25 min. by car to San Francisco.
The location has potential, but the hotel itself is in desperate need of renovation. It is barely OK for an emergency sleepover, but I would hesitate having my family stay there.

Great location!

Posted Nov 14, 2014
Pros: Great location in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Plenty of free parking.
Cons: The motel is older, but the bed comfortable and room was clean.
We stayed two days and really enjoyed being right on the waterfront with access to a nice walking path and nearby park. We also walked safely at night to a nearby restaurant.

Great place, has all the stuff like a good hotel but much more affordable! I got to stay 69/night via Expedia! People are nice! Close to the hospital! Uber is a good way to commute don't do taxi too expensive

A good value. This appears to have been built in the 60's so its not brand new. It's in a quiet neighborhood and you can walk outside and see the marina and walk along the Bay Trail. Also can walk to a nearby shopping center for dinner.
