The pillows were very flat and it felt like something was biting me when I was trying to sleep.

This is the second time I have chosen this hotel. It has a great location. It is always clean and the staff is always friendly and ready to answer any question. I will stay here for all my visits to the Mesa area.

Decent hotel, horrible servicePosted Apr 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
When we checked in, we were given a smoking room. We booked non-smoking and were rudely informed by the lady at the front desk that we did not book non-smoking. She reluctantly offered to find us a non-smoking room, but made it apparent this was a big inconvenience for her. I would not recommend this hotel even if you just need a place to lay your head for the night. Our friends stayed at the Clarion Inn closer to Phoenix and had nothing but good things to say about it. Do yourself a favor!

Definitely overpriced at 80$ a night.. Very old furnishings, poor lighting, noisy air conditioner, toilet handle broke (but it was fixed when I reported it) linens appeared clean but very worn... would not stay there again for that price.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in a hotel. Stay away if at all possible!

Seriously, don't stay herePosted Mar 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
It is crystal clear that no one at this place has cared the tiniest bit about guest comfort in a very, very long time. Ancient, sagging mattress. Nasty, worn, frayed, dirty carpet. Extremely old furniture. To cheap to furnish the room with two nightstands. Ancient, non-working coffee pot. A toilet that threatened to overflow whenever you used it. They obviously knew about the toilet issue for a while, since there was a rather gross looking plunger for our use sitting right next to the toilet. When I informed the front desk that the coffee pot doesn't work, they didn't even bat an eye and told me there was coffee in the lobby, which leads me to believe they knew about that, too. Everywhere you look, it is plain to see that they really just.don't.care. At all. We weren't expecting luxury or even a nice place. We just wanted a reasonably clean, comfortable place to crash before our flight the next morning. This dump failed to live up to even our very meager expectations. The mattress was so old and saggy that it was impossible to get any sleep. Seriously, don't stay here!

The best part about it was that it was available on short notice. They still have smoking rooms. Some of the non smoking rooms are between 2 smoking rooms. The person who checked it's in hinted at the fact that there were potentially other drugs being used in those smoking rooms. The beds were not comfortable and the bathroom was small. I won't stay there again.

expected more for the moneyPosted Mar 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
considering the price, I have had better experiences in the Mesa area. no access to a computer, breakfast was marginal (donuts, no fruit, OJ was Sunny D - really???), staff could have been friendlier............
