Close to Pioneer Center, River Walk.Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Nearness to concert venue ( we walked there in 5 minutes), value for the price. They also offered discounts to locals and UNR students.
Cons: Rooms could be upgraded.
Location: Near the Pioneer Center and the River Walk. Close to several other well known hotel/casinos and a large variety of restaurants.
Harrah's has been a Reno staple for many years. The room was a little tired but the bed was very comfortable, the climate control worked well, and the bathroom had new fixtures and was very clean. The staff was also very good, from check in to restaurant staff.

Comfy & InexpensivePosted Oct 15, 2014
Harrahs is a great place to stay in downtown Reno. We got a killer deal and so I can't be too critical. Our carpets were stained really bad but the overall experience was fabulous. I will tell my family & friends to stay here. Oh and the valet parking was super nice.

My room was my sanctuary away from cigarette smoke! Thankfully it was clean and I had no issues at all. I enjoyed the pool (even in October) but was bummed I had to pay$ to use the gym facilities to exercise. Overall, good stay at Harrah's.

GREAT VALUEPosted Oct 11, 2014
Pros: clean, updated room with plenty of electrical outlets, in 2014 that is not always the case
Cons: Garage needs cleaning and some concrete repairs
Good location, great parking and room was in great shape with super comfortable bed. Hall ways and elevator could have been maintained a bit better but over all super value.

Rooms were nice, bed comfortable. Staff were very helpful and polite especially the valet and housekeeping staff. The room rate was the lowest I could find. But I got a bad feeling when we were charged for the room coffee (if used), bottled water and also a large daily charge for wifi per devise.

The place was dingy and hotel staff were not helpful. We have stayed out other harrAhs and never had a problem before. They were explaining all the issues were because we booked from expedia

Room Comfort After the Move Was PleasingPosted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Starbucks on the second floor
Cons: The rooms and the price of the Hash No No restaurant/diner could be a bit more reasonable
Location: All the casino's are near by.
We stayed one night and the first room we were given had long power strips on both night stands. It was bad enough they were there, but they didn't work. The clock radio didn't work, it looked like someone had been sick and threw up on one of the power strips. The box springs had a broken spring and since the platform is metal the sound was horrible getting into bed or just moving. The carpet was very dirty too. At 11 pm I called the front desk and we were moved to a nicer room.
