"Rooms and food are great. Being in a safe community to walk around made for a unique experience. Don’t take any offers to tour other resorts for a gift or voucher. Do upgrade to preferred club and make sure to use the pool, spa and dinning perks that come with it. I would stay here again."

"This resort is always amazing! We have stayed 7 times and each time gets better. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Restaurants are a little difficult to reserve, I suggest you get this done as soon as you check in. We had to go to the guest relations office for them to help us, the connection on your phones never work. The Grounds are clean and beautiful with a lagoon for swimming and snorkeling. Beach area can be filled with Seaweed depending on the time of year but there are 4 pools on the resort. Some areas are for Privileged guest which is so worth the extra money for more privacy and better liquor selections at the pool bars. Make sure to rent a golf cart and go 3 minutes down the road to Puerto Aventuras! This is a must see for everyone."

"Secrets was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, the pools were beautiful and there was always entertainment happening. The quiet pool was calm and relaxing if you wanted a more serene setting. The food was great and we never had to wait long at the restaurants. And if you are looking for a a late night the DJ in the lounge was so much fun! Great place for couples to relax and reconnect."

"The hotel is decent, but not amazing. The positives: - Food was good at the French, Japanese and Steakhouse - we enjoyed the gym - pool options were good The negatives: - Room was ok, but shower was luke-warm throughout the stay (maintenance never resolved it) - time-share pitch at check in - water was not replenished in the room (we left a tip…!) - Property was noisy 2 of 3 nights with events (loud music until after 10pm) - Spa service was ok, but seriously overpriced - the staff was very rude to our friends who were also guests"
