Great central location

Great central location...steps to the metro. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant! Great buffet breakfast. Concierge very helpful. Can't say enough good things!

Westin Taipei

Known brand with known quality. It’s not a fancy hotel but very comfortable. Location is probably it’s best attribute. It’s steps from Nanjing Fuxing subway station so it’s only a few stations from the airport express terminal. It’s also only a few stations from Dongmen which is famous for its abundance of eateries. If you like high end shopping, the Xinyi area is only three stops away. You can also walk to Taipei 101 from the shopping area.

Not worth the money

Broken coffee maker Very small room but large bathroom Old toilet Not a family hotel ( only one bath robe and 2 sets of towel) Parking view Over priced In summary, there are many 5 stars hotels in Taipei that we stayed and paid lower price. Since we don’t even earn any spy point when purchased via Expedia, we will not stay here next year.

Nice Hotel but Dated Hotel.

On the plus side, great location, has a pool, nice and clean, great bed, I'd give this an OK. Main concern is the hotel is really dated. Had to have the repair folks fix the shower as it was falling off the wall, the nightstand lights flickering and needed repair, the coffee machine one from 15 years ago, the towels a disappointment, so I believe the hotel is hanging in there but really needs a refresh. From a Westin I expected more so I think this hotel is a ding in the Westin Brand. For me I probably won't return.

Feel great as a water baby!

I was offered 4 bottle of water a day, gourmet coffee by own room filter machine, delicious local fruit, various type of fragrant tea with a boiler; together with the bath salt to soak in the clean tub; all are inclusive with no extra charge for a water lover like me. On my kingsize comfortable bed, there were pillows in different sizes, I was sleeping like a baby in a silent room. This hotel is conviniently located, you can get there by airport high speed train and green line subway within a short time.

Great customer service, dingy room

Overall nice hotel stay, lovely front desk staff that was very accommodating. Room was larger than expected, but it was clear that the housekeeping staff was not dusting less visible areas or changing the bed skirt or cleaning the caulk in the shower. Excellent for a quick trip, but not for an extended stay.
