“I loved all the restaurants I ate at four of them. Had a massage, booked excursions in the lobby area, was able to exchange my US currency to pesos in the lobby. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet, swim up pool bar and loved the natural setting.The staff was helpful and friendly”

“I was disappointed as this is advertised as a beach front hotel. Tjis is on the beach however it isn't accessible, and the seaweed was a big issue this season which isn't the hotel's fault but it did impact the stay and any time at the beach was unpleasant because of the piles and smell. My main complaint is the constant hustling done by staff. It starts as a guise to ask about your stay and turns into are you interested in membership. This happened daily and multiple times a day. “The staff were very nice and charismatic. There were not a lot of people there which was nice in our opinion. Right in the beach. Beach chairs/beds and a pool right outside. We had our own little patio. There was a little thing of water next the stairs to the patio- I thought it was a bird bath- partner let me know it’s to wash the sand off your feet- simple but I really appreciated it. We always seen somebody cleaning in the distance. It’s walkable. It’s in a sort of gated part of Tulum.……

“The rooms were clean and beautiful, the design was very Zen and comfortable, everything we needed was there and the staff were ready to help at a moments notice, the food was incredible, with so many options, and service so fast, the beach and sand was awesome although we were there in the seaweed season, the heated plunge pool in our balcony was wonderful, and the location was perfect”

“Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were clean. Staffs were helpful and nice. Unfortunately, the seaweed overran the entire beach, which wasn't anyone's fault. It's a shame we weren't able to use the free kayaking or swim at the ocean. The swimming pool was a good substitute though. The road is horrendous though, so make sure you drive safely.”

“We stayed on the main floor and it feels like it’s our own house on the beach. Luckily no one was around so it feels very nice and private. The 3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms were wonderful for layout and the common rooms of kitchen/living room and dining room were great for all of us to spend time together. The beach view was wonderful but the sargassum just ruined the experience as we couldn’t use the beach at all as there was so much weeds on shore and in water despite the staff hauling……

“The website and reviews are completely different then when I stayed there. The bedding, sheets, towels, robes, everything had stains on it. The building is really run down, structural damage, cracks in the walls. The bathroom shower is gross. It flooded water was running out the shower into where the toilet is. The beach is completely useless so many rocks no where to sit and relax. I cant tell you when the water has ever been changed in any of the pools they have. Especially the ones in the……

“It’s a spectacular family friendly hotel in the heart of Tulum. Tulum doesn’t have big all inclusive resorts so the little extras at La Zebra make it special. A terrific restaurant over looking the water, a basic mini golf course on the roof kept my son entertained, a small pool to refresh in and multiple beach side bars with great waiter service made relaxing at the beach the best. Beautiful room with small plunge pool to unwind each afternoon. Finally in a quiet area but literally steps from……
