“Amazing Experience at Secrets Tulum We had such an amazing time at Secrets Tulum! 🌴✨ The experience was even more special because of the incredible service. A huge shoutout to our bartender, who somehow always had our drinks ready before we even had to ask! 🍹 The Scooby Doo and the Mexican Candy drinks were so much fun and definitely made our nights unforgettable. His attention to detail and great attitude really made a difference. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the ceviche……

“Great food, service, beach. Even the morning and lunch buffets were out of this world!”

“The room was literally 82 degrees. We asked for it to be fixed several times. Beach unusable. A lot of confusion of which staff was appropriate to use if an expedia guest vs “hotel guest”. Monkey poop (I hope) up our stairs 3 nights in a row. Beach unusable. I got incredibly ill, hospital visit during my stay and was given absolute hell for a refund even though I had my boyfriend call and explain hours before and showed documentation after. I had to physically go down to the lobby with shakes……

“This property is centrally located in Tulum so if you’re planning any excursions everything is only 10-15 minutes away. The property itself was under renovation during our visit so there were rolling closures in restaurants and main building. A little annoying but we managed. Glad to see there were renovating as it was in dire need. It’s a dated property but looking past that the staff helped make it great. The live music and shows in the evening were also above average. “Don’t book. Place is run down. Bathroom had black mold. A/C thermostat locked. Kids water park super old. Staff not helpful. Bartenders and waiters prefer to attend first to certain foreigners. Had to figure out the whole hotel on my own. This place is huge. Three hotels in one. You have to wait for for golf carts (10-15min) to get the beach. The beach has rocks. We did see some fish. Buffet is mediocre at best. Airport is over an hour away. There is way too much to explain. Just find another……

“Everything about our stay at La Zebra was perfect! If you want a small hotel with every detail considered, where the staff are ALL amazing, kind, warm and so friendly then La Zebra is for you. A beautifully styled hotel, complete with every modern touch yet embracing Mexican art and culture, it is the kind of place where you can totally relax. The food and drinks were incredible, our particular favourite was the ceviche! The staff became more like old friends, nothing was ever too much trouble.……
